Core Beliefs
At Fathers In Christ, Inc., our beliefs are firmly rooted in the foundational truths taught in the Holy Bible. All of our teaching and ministry flow from these timeless biblical doctrines:
God
We believe in one eternally existing God who reveals Himself in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all that exists—both visible and invisible—and is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchanging and remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Revelation
God has made Himself known through His Son, Jesus Christ—who is the visible image of the invisible God—through the Holy Scriptures, and through the witness of His creation.
Mankind
We believe that human beings, both male and female, were created in the image of God for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and were appointed as caretakers of God’s creation.
The Fall
Through disobedience, Adam and Eve sinned against God and fell from their original state of holiness. As a result, all of creation was fractured, and humanity’s fellowship with God was broken. This fall distorted the image of God in mankind and brought sin into the world.
Salvation
Jesus Christ came to reconcile humanity to God. He lived a sinless life and willingly gave Himself as a sacrifice on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. God raised Him from the dead, and now, by grace, offers the free gift of eternal life to all who receive Jesus Christ by faith as Lord and Savior. Salvation is found in Christ alone.
The Church
The Church is the visible body of Christ on earth, called to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. We are His hands and feet—ambassadors of the Kingdom—empowered by the Holy Spirit to fulfill His mission.
Resurrection and Return
We believe that Jesus Christ will return one day to judge both the living and the dead. He will establish the fullness of God’s Kingdom and restore all things according to His perfect will.
